"EXPOSED" @ Create Your Style Website

My first published book, co authored with fellow designers Katie Hacker and Margot Potter got a page at Create Your Style with CRYSTALLIZED™  Swarovski Elements website.

This book highlights 50 designs made with regular jewelry components used, in special, stringing wire manufactured by Beadalon®  all framed by top quality crystal components by Swarovski, an iconic brand itself. 

In 2 weeks I will be at the Bead and Button™  Show in Milwaukee promoting the book at the Crystallized booth.

Following is a glance on some of my designs made specially for this book. 

Oh, Betsey necklace - wrapped jet and pink wire.

Blue lagoon bracelet - an over the top conception for a charm style bracelet - grey pearls and Montana blue crystals.

Lady of the rings necklace - chain maille style necklace inspired by Miranda Otto's character in "The Lord of the rings" movie.

Locomotion necklace - double ball chain weaved with silver plated stringing wire.  This idea born from images from my childhood of railroads and freight trains....love, love,love!!!

A little of water, mother of all of us

Pots remind me of water. Water reminds of mother. Blue like water.

Continuing posting jewelry pieces assembled with heart shape components, here are 2 more.

Again the Venetian puffed Klint heart glass steals the show but nonetheless the Ferido™ star and red heart charms. Of course I covered both with CRYSTALLIZED™ stones to add the bling I like.

Those were my first experiments with Ferido™. I bought it last year during the CHA Winter Show by Gesswein®.  The other heart charms are die cut pieces imported from Brazil. 

Copper heart beads, CRYSTALLIZED™ beads, leaf motif charms and lilac organza ribbon sustain the necklace. Copper beads with gold plated and organza make up to an interesting texture.

"Lots of love" necklace.

Fresh cultured water heart shape pearls strung in silk, Rose AB CRYSTALLIZED™ Heart Pendants, Venetian glass beads and puffed heart pendant by Murano Glass Beads. The multi colored hues and effects on the Murano glass beads and pendants make this piece complex and unique. There is a lot going on on this necklace and Gianni Versace became famous because his clothes have many cultural references going on a single piece. Why not?!?
