Art exhibition in NY




The image above is just a section of one of the neckpieces I have created for the 1st Bahia Week in New York 2009 .

I created a tassel made with red and satin copper 19 Strands Beadalon wire to emphasise the power of Oya-Yansa, the Afro-Brazilian goddess of winds and lightning. I will show the full piece in the future along with other images from this collection designed specially for this exhibition.
This event created by Silvana Magda is a success and the opening night was packed that we could barely walk through the place. The night was vibrant, colorful and upbeat.
